Alister "AJ" Jeffcock is a character in Unfriended: Dark Web.
Biography[]
AJ is one of Matias' many friends to participate in a Cards Against Humanity game night with his friends Lexx, Damon, Serena, and Nari.
AJ ran a popular conspiracy theorist channel named "The Way of AJ", which in April 2018 had over 7 million subscribers. He uploaded very frequently, as many of his episodes were uploaded mere hours apart. His channel primarily focused on exposing "conspiracies" within the world government, the Illuminati, and others, as well as general privacy and security tips.
Later on, these videos would prove to be his ultimate demise, as The Circle swats AJ by playing audio splices of his own videos to a 911 operator, making him look like a terrorist who is plotting to shoot up a nearby shopping mall. Ten minutes later, a SWAT team storms his home and demands he unlock the door. The Circle hacks into his laptop and plays a sound effect of a gun loading, causing the SWAT officers to kick open his basement door and immediately spray his body with bullets. He is killed nearly instantly as the SWAT team confirms he is down. Shortly after, he is banned from the group.
Later on, it is revealed that one of the officers involved in AJ's swatting was a member of The Circle.

- AJ's swatting and death may have been based on the real life 2017 Wichita swatting incident, in which a man was killed by a SWAT team after being swatted over a dispute in Call of Duty: WWII.
- The Circle was betting on how many times AJ would talk about politics.
- The Circle was betting on how many times AJ would get shot. They likely found out from the Charon posing as a police officer.
- When the Charon hacks into his computer to play an audio clip, the cursor changes into a middle finger.
